For over 80 years, Youth Options has been supporting people across Hampshire to stay safe. Now more than ever, this remains our priority.
In an understandably worrying time, we would like to reassure you that we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of everyone involved with Youth Options.
Following government advice, group delivery has been stopped for the time being, and other office-based projects are being run remotely. We have reduced face-to-face delivery and will be providing support to young people via phone calls, WhatsApp and other appropriate methods instead.
The Hub and MP3 have temporarily stopped certain sessions and they, along with the Scott Centre are monitoring Government advice so they can respond as and when the situation changes.
However, we are committed to continuing our work with young people in need across the county and we will do our best to maintain our services as long as we are able to and government strategy permits. As such, all other services are currently running normal timetables. We will of course be monitoring Government advice daily and taking all relevant precautions to do our bit against the spread of COVID-19. For future updates, please follow our social media pages, which you can link to below.
I would also like to thank our amazing admin team who are still at Head Office ready to help with any enquiries you have.
On a personal note I think it is important to remember that the reason Youth Options exists remains. Young people and their families are still in need, now more than ever. In a time of uncertainty, we need to pull together; never has our mission been more important than now. We will continue to adapt our services to fit in with the needs of the community as much as we can, but we simply cannot do this alone. If you are able to help in anyway, then please do donate to help us keep helping others.
Once again, thank you for all your support and we hope you are all staying safe wherever you are.
