The Scott Centre

The Scott Centre is a well established provider of after school and holiday provision which has been operating since 1994. We provide after school childcare based in Andover.

The Scott Centre collects children from:

  • Vigo Infants and Juniors

East Anton After School Club operates from Endeavour Primary School and collects children from:

  • Endeavour Primary School
  • Knights Enham Infants and Juniors
  • Smannell Primary School

P20 After School club operates from Pilgrims Cross School and collects children from:

  • Pilgrims Cross School

**Children that attend any other School can also come to the centre but would need to be dropped down to the Scott Centre.

Children are collected by a Youth Options’ Playworker by minibus and transported back to the setting (The Scott Centre, Endeavour Primary school or Pilgrims Cross School), where they enjoy a whole range of activities. These activities include sports, art and crafts, social time, computer activities, a homework area, a quiet area and outside play.

Our settings are registered with OFSTED. Youth Options’ staff work within the early years foundation stage (EYFS) guidelines, which supports children in their learning through play. We operate a key worker system for Year R children.

Breakfast Club

Based at Endeavour Primary school, our breakfast club is open to children attending this school and is open from 8am until the start of the school day. Breakfast is provided.

Based at Balksbury Junior School, our breakfast club is open to children attending Balksbury Infant and Junior schools and St John the Baptist School and is open from 7.45m until the start of the school day. Breakfast is provided.

Based at Knights Enham Junior School, our breakfast club is open to children attending this school and is open from 8am until the start of the school day. Breakfast is provided.

Based at Pilgrims Cross School, our breakfast club is open to children attending this school and is open from 7.30am until the start of the school day. Breakfast is provided.

Holiday Time

During school holidays The Scott Centre offers a holiday club which is open from 8:30-6:00 Monday to Friday. Children that attend our holiday club enjoy a whole range of fun days out, including, Theme Parks, Zoos, Indoor Play Areas, Educational Trips and much more.

Pre-School

Sessions run Monday to Friday term time 9-12 noon or 12 noon until 3pm with a lunch time option. Our pre-school is open to children aged 2-5 years. We are registered with the local authority to allow parents to access their free entitlement of pre-school hours.

The Scott Centre for hire

The Scott Centre is available for use by clubs, committees, or groups as a meeting place, ideal for coffee mornings and for children’s parties plus other activities; during the week and at week-ends too.
