Thousands of people are dying each year in situations where first aid could have made the difference. This includes nearly 900 people who choke to death, 2,500 who asphyxiate from a blocked airway and 29,000 who die from heart attacks.

In the event of an emergency, a quarter (24%) would do nothing but wait for an ambulance to arrive or hope that a passer-by knows first aid.

Knowing basic first aid could save a life and these skills can be learned through training courses provided by Safehands Training; registered with Nuco Training Ltd and First Aid Awards Ltd, offering high quality Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and OFQUAL approved first aid courses.

We can organise bespoke training to meet your needs; arranging the venue, if required; providing training manuals and resources to ensure that your learning experience is enjoyable and provides you with the confidence to help, if the situation arises.
